Hello,

maybe anyone can help me: Is there a way to create masterpages for phone use (f. e. 1080 x 1920 Pixels) and print layout (f. e. Din-A-5 with metric measurement ans facing Pages) in one Document?

I want to create a info brochure that is distributet via download and Phone use on a Website or printed and delivered to old school readers.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @RainerH,

I can confirm that you can create one document in Publisher with different size spreads throughout - simply create your document, then navigate to the spread you wish to resize and select File > Spread Setup.

Here you can choose which number of spreads you are changing, and set the size as required.

When adding a new master page to the document, you also have the choice of setting the master page size, as required -

I hope this helps :)

Hello Dan C,

thank you for your help. Is there a way to adjust one master Page in Pixel an another in mm? I've createt a Document in DIN-A5 and then made a 2nd Masterpage. I wanted to set up it in 600 by 800 but when I type 600 px and press tab to jump to heighth field the amount is shown in mm (about 50 mm).

Unfortunately the Units setting is document wide and as far as I know you cannot have 2 different units in use between spreads - my apologies.

As you've found, typing the Pixel value into this input box will accept the size, and will then convert it to the units in use, in your case Millimetres

This means that although you cannot 'see' your Pixel measurements, you can still use these as required :)

That doesn't really matter it's only a little bit of shame (are these the correct words?) because I think in the near future it would be more and more interesting to distribute information in both ways - printed and for slim displays.
