abachem Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 (External) Hyperlinks which contain umlaute such as "https://www.commerzbank.de/filialen/de/Köln-Rodenkirchen" seem not to work in affinity publisher version 1.8.2 or version 1.9.0.857 beta. Such hyperlinks are accepted but do not link in a PDF-export. All other hyperlinks I tried work fine. Is there any trick when using umlaute in hyperlinks? hyperlink_test.afpub hyperlink_test.pdf Quote
2:3 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I never used this, but there are URL Converters. I tried your file with converted url and exported to pfd it works: hyperlink_test.pdf Quote
abachem Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 Thank you very much! This is a good workaround, I did not think of. But I hope "Umlaute" can be used in an url in a future version of affinity publisher without this additional converting step. Quote
Joachim_L Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 @abachem Maybe you should try the latest beta 1.9.0.863. There it works for me. Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
abachem Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 @Joachim_L: Maybe you should try the latest beta 1.9.0.863. There it works for me. Thank you for your hint. Unfortunately this is the latest Windows beta version. For Mac it is still 1.9.0.857 beta and I use Mac. But this gives me hope, that it will be solved in the future version also for Mac's. Quote
