Michael8
I am trying to make game art, This seems to be very difficult considering that the marque selector, pixel brush and eraser all have the effect of a transparent edge. Considering the description of the pixel brush is "The Pixel Tool draws pixel-aligned, hard-edged lines" when it completely does not. And of the erasor, when i need to delete a single row of pixels. It always has a feathered edge, although everything is set to 100% hardness and opacity. And yes wet edges are off and transform have no decimal points. Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Michael. Are you on Mac or Windows? Are your brush strokes aligned to pixel boundaries? 54 minutes ago, Michael8 said: And yes wet edges are off and transform have no decimal points. When the Transform panel is set to display a limited number of decimal places the underlying values are not affected. You need to make sure that you’re actually using integers. Michael8
Hi Alfred Windows and not sure about the other two, boundaries and integers. I'm only just getting back into affinity, haven't used it in ages.

I cannot get hard edges in any other way then using selection tools (like Rectangular Marquee tool) without antialas option and deleting. All brushes and the eraser produce soft edges. Yup, quite frustrating. Also, never merge layers. They always blur afterwards.

Michael8
Well for me the pixel tool doesn't consistently have a hard edge.
Old Bruce
Flow needs to be at 100% too. Dan C
Hi @Michael8, Welcome to the forums Could you please provide a screen recording, showing your brush and settings, all your layers in the document, and the issue you're seeing? Many thanks in advance!
Michael8
Hey Dan, If i can be bothered to get some recording software i will. Otherwise even the erasor has the same effect.
