OdFori
Hi guys, In my Document Setup it's set to "Image Placement Policy=Prefer Linked". However when I try to place images with the Place Image Tool, they end up being Embedded when viewing them in the Resource Manager. Is this a bug or does it have to be set up for the tool separately? Thanks!

Are you really Placing an image file (JPG, TIFF, PNG) or are you Placing a document file? I don't think that should make a difference, but it is one possibility. Can you provide some screenshots showing the Document Setup dialog and the Resource Manager? What release of Publisher do you use, and what OS? OdFori
I am on Publisher 1.8.6 on macOS Catalina. It's just jpeg images. Have to make them linked manually.. Just also did a try to set it to 'Embedded' in Document Setup, and now it imports as Linked. (not so while "Resource Manager>Replace with") This bug is not there anymore with a new file. (same image) I'd like to keep this file tho (copying symbols and stuff from one file to the other goes sometimes with a bit of a hassle) so I'll keep an eye on the Resource Manager and switch back and forth. If any idea on how to fix it, i'd love to hear. 🙂
