Jimbo65 Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 I have recently started using Affinity Publisher and want to run all my files with Imbedded, not linked pictures. Is there any way I can change this on default so I don't have to keep remembering to change to embedded every time I start a new file. It is very annoying. I have searched through Preferences and cannot see a way to change this. i am running on a Mac. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 You can create your own Presets for use with File > New, and set it the way you want in your Presets, and then just use those. During the File > New dialog, set it, then click on the + sign to create a new Preset: Or you can create your own Template files that have it set. AlanPickup Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 In windows you can do by creating presets, but this is on a per document basis. When you alter the settings on tthe new document presets you can set your preference for that doc and save and rename by right click. I have all my poplular formats saved as prefer embedded Quote Alan Pickup Windows 11 Home all Affinity suite of Apps PC and Gigabyte Laptop 16gb Ram and Nvidia GTX1660 Super on each.
Jimbo65 Posted December 5, 2020 Author Posted December 5, 2020 Thanks guys, I have set up a couple of my own presets now with imbedded ticked so as long as I use these i should be fine. Not used any of these yet. Thanks for the advice. Quote
