PaRunk
Hello Affinity Team, i would very much like to have a way to create patterns from vectors, like in Adobe Illustrator, and be able to save them like a kind of fill colour. In addition you can change the size, distances to the individual objects, as well as an offset and rotation or mirroring, which allows you to move the objects manually by input or to make an adjustment by overlays. The currently very hidden function of pattern fills in AD, is limited by the functionality and the pattern templates must first be saved externally as png files and therefore not visible in AD. It would be nice if a similar possibility as in AI could be added in Designer. Unfortunately, I can't include a sample video of how it works in Illustrator, because I have the current AI anymore and also the trial version from the usage time is already used up and I can't use it now.
