freely rotate image view for brushing ?

Hi,

Affinity Photo on Windows desktop.

How can I freely rotate the viewed image for brushing? I am not talking about the fixed 15 degree in the view menu.

In other software I can assign a shortcut to a rotate function and activate this by a button on the drawing tablet. A pen left / right move does then rotate the view in fine steps. The fixed 15 degree either left or right would mean that I need two short cuts and is still not as flexible as in the other solution I use. Maybe there is something in Photo and I just have not found it yet?

That function is not available yet.

However, it is in beta test in the 1.9 beta, and should be available in the 1.9 release. From the release notes it is designed to work with a mousewheel, though, so I don't know if it will help with a drawing tablet. You could install the beta alongside your current 1.8 release to experiment, and provide feedback in the beta forums.
