GloriousDestiny
Hi there, new user here. Why is there a default white box around the text in Designer? I have spent the last several hours trying to figure out how to either get rid of the box completely or make the box around the text transparent, to no avail. I am using the artistic text tool, not the frame text tool. Please help! walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @GloriousDestiny. You might check the Character Studio panel and see if you have a background color specified for your text: If it shows a color, click on it and choose "no color" (circle with /) instead. You might also try clicking on the Revert Defaults button in the Context Toolbar: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
