Kenny Baierl Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I feel dumb asking, but I am having trouble filling a layer background with the color I select, with the fill tool (coming from PS, I add background and select paint bucket and voila). I realize Affinity Designer is slightly different and any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 There are several ways that could work. Here are some that come to mind: For a vector background layer: Select the Rectangle Tool. Draw a rectangle covering your document. Set it's fill color. For a pixel background layer: Add a Pixel layer. Switch to the Pixel Persona. Select the Flood Fill Tool (paint bucket). Select a color. Click with the Flood Fill Tool. Or if you're using Artboards, you can just set the color of the Artboard, and avoid having the background layer at all.
