I just started using photo, when picking brushes, I found that it is way too sensitive to drag the brushes instead of selecting one, is there an option to lock the brushes in place, so I don't have to drag them each time?
as for the layers panel, I don't mind having the show hide layers as ticks and appear on the right side, but is it possible to isolate the ticks from the entire layer like photoshop?( where I can click and drag to hide a few layers in 1 go without clicking on each one and untick) would be great to have the lock icon shows next to ticks as well, to easily lock and unlock layers.

As for the isolation mode, alt click on selected layer to hide the rest of the layers, can't it just toggle on off alt click on the same layer? I found it stupid to click other layer to toggle off isolation.

I think these suggestions above would make the software much comfortable to use.
Thanks

Hi @vchia,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
1. No, there's no option to lock the brushes "in place". I've not experienced any issue here nor have seen this reported before. Are you using a pen&tablet, mouse or trackpad?
2. If you select the first layer, press shift and select the last one (to highlight them all) you can enable/disable them all ticking/unticking just once.
3. You can press V to switch to Move Tool and click somewhere else on the canvas/or pasteboard to turn off isolation mode.

@MEBThanks! yeah I am using pen and tablet, I use photo mainly for painting and create some quick concept art.

An option to lock the brushes in place would be great as I can quickly switch brushes without dragging (way too sensitive at the moment, I have to steadily place my pen on the brushes and make a quick tap on the tablet with the pen to select.)
Shift select highlighted ones to toggle is great.
As for isolation mode, I really think toggle this mode by alt clicking on the same layer is the best, the less buttons/clicks we have to make, the better.
I wonder if these two suggestions above would be implemented in the future updates.
Thanks again!
Vincent
