prettorian
Hello, do you have some tips for a presets to edit photograps? I want to use it for pictures from vacations, pictures of kids etc. I don't want to edit each photo separately.
carl123
All photographs are different and may need different editing depending on the conditions under which they were taken so you won't find a universal preset that does what you want But on the toolbar at the top of the screen you will see 4 buttons called. Auto Levels Auto Contrast Auto Colours Auto White Balance These will attempt to correct the above 4 basic adjustments if they detect any imbalance in your photographs. Sometimes they improve a photograph other times you may prefer the original look of the photograph. If you have a batch of photographs taken at the same time under the same conditions (e.g. a wedding venue). I would suggest you try each of the adjustments above to see if it improves the look of a particular test image. (if it does not, just undo that adjustment and continue) Once you are happy with the auto adjustments you have applied to the image you can then create a small macro to apply just those adjustments to your photographs and by using the File > New Batch Job command you can quickly apply those adjustments to hundreds of photographs at the same time. (If you need more specific/detailed advice on how to improve a particular set of images you will have to upload some samples to the forum) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. prettorian
Hi and thanks, I totally understand what you mean by that. I just thought that someone could have some bunch of saved presets for different types of photos. I usually add some contrast etc. but in Lightroom I had a plenty of presets which I bought and I would love to have some of these also in Affinity Photo. Maybe some users could share their favorite presets for example for landscapes, photos on beach, portraits etc.
carl123
You can try searching the Resources Forum Or if you don't mind paying, you can find some online... https://www.photowhoa.com/deals/affinity-photo-presets-bundle/?mc_cid=213b9b6289&mc_eid=580afe0e75 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. prettorian
Thanks, I bought it and tried to install it to Affinity. One thing is that I have to load it one by one I guess. But i don't know where it is saved. Because it applies directly on open image but I would love to import these presets and then try them on a picture. Do you have any idea? You must try them one at a time, using the Load LUT... button in a LUT Adjustment Layer dialog. If you find one you like you can then use the Add Preset button in that same dialog. Once you have created the Presets, they will be available in the LUT section of the Adjustments panel for use on other images. (Where they are saved: All the Adjustment presets that have been created/loaded are saved in one adjustments.propcol file, which is not editable by the user.) prettorian 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
