RainerH Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Hello, in Indesign in Textframes with more than one column paragraphs (f. e. captions) can be formattet in a manner that they cross the Columns (please have a look to the Line in the attached file that'S marked with "2"). In the german version of Indesign it's called "Spaltenspanne". The Text before a so formatted caption is splittet into the two columns above the Caption and the following text in the two columns underneath. Does Affinity Publisher have such a function? I searched the paragraphs-settings but sadly unsuccessful. Thank you for the help Best regards Rainer Quote
GarryP Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 This has been requested in the past but I don’t think it’s an available option at the moment. The developers are aware of the requests and may introduce it in the future. If someone has a workaround then they might post it here. Quote
thomaso Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Possibly a workaround – though it can get cumbersome in certain situations... Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
RainerH Posted April 25, 2024 Author Posted April 25, 2024 Has anything happened since then or is it still not working after 4 years? Quote
