Hello all,

I am trying to recreate this letter "i" in my company logo.  I need to slash an angle in the letter.  I've been at it for hours and can't figure it out.  I am also trying to add a 3d effect to the letters in the new logo file, however, when I do, the color changes drastically.  Thank you in advance for any ideas.

Try creating the text/hit the move tool/you should now see on the context tool bar an option to convert to curves - convert and use the node tool to modify the letters of the text.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

Thank you so much for the quick response.

Did you use publisher, photo, or designer?

And, when you say, create the text, do you mean there is a function to create text from scratch, or do you mean enter the text in the text box and then manipulate it.

Thank you again!!!

I used Photo.

Normal text from the text editor - any text can be converted to curves.
