Serif Labs raw engine is the default for AP on macOS.

You are quite right! My mistake—I checked both retail and beta and they were both set to Apple Core so I incorrectly assumed. I never reset my Mac either as that's where I have all my customisations etc. Thanks for the correction anon2.

Hello Chris B. and Anon2,

Thank you for your support. I had Serif Labs set up and then switched to Apple Core Image and enabled "automatic tone curve". Now it fits for the most part of the colors, only to oversaturate the reds on the right. These are "natural" in the jpg file of the camera.Bildschirmfoto_2020-12-02_um_17_19_19.thumb.png.7753af3de71daa1bad25f71f18fdd3c7.pngP1180028.thumb.JPG.8fa07fde425de7f380328cda9b975b31.JPG

colors of Apple Core correspond more to those of the JPG file, especially in the case of wood. I have the problem with the red tones with both variants.

Can you provide a link from which we can download the camera raw file to try to find a solution?
