Christi‘s Comix Toolbox appars only in "photo"

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

The brushes are raster brushes, and therefore in Designer you must be in the Pixel Persona to use them.

thanks for your answere and good hint!
unfornunately they are neiter in the designer persona, nor in die pixelpersona.

aditionally they are not available when i switch within publisher to affinity photo.

You must install them in each application separately. So,

  • Open Designer, switch to Pixel Persona, and import them into the Brushes panel.
  • Open Publisher, switch to Photo Persona, and import them into the Brushes panel.

They will show up in the Photo Persona

(Logical, but I was not expecting that to work, for some reason!)

thanx a lot, that worked out!
for the first time i was asked by affinity photo to accept the import. So i was irritated, even if easy to find, that i have to it more times by myselfe and that i have to do it for each programm twice.

Yes, that will work. Just as you can import them in the Designer Persona of Designer, and they will appear (only) in the Pixel Persona.

I prefer to provide instructions that give expected, rather than surprising results, when possible :)
