[Affinity Designer] [Masking] Make background only visible where Ellipse Tool is placed?

Hello everyone,

I made some lines using the Brush tool. I would like the lines to only be visible through circles. I can get the first one to work by making a circle using the Ellipse Tool. And select and drag the lines (Curve) as they are called in Layers venster. Result:

How to pursue if I want the same result with more circles? Just repeating the above doesn't do the trick for me. Result:

I would like to add around 50 (smaller) circles in total. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Try this, arrange your circles and group them then mask the image with the group ?

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
