Why is there no update information on the download page?

When launching my Affinity Software, I receive a notification of an update. When I like to download the new update, there is no information. Just download link.

I think it is necessary to give a list of improvements made, bugs fixed and new features. That will help the user decide if he wants the update or not. I don't know if the information is available somewhere else on the site, but I think such information should be on the download page.

I think that’s a good idea.
A list of all of the improvements and new features for each update would usually be quite long (and not necessarily relevant to all users) but a link to another page which lists them all, rather than having to guess by ‘mashing together’ the notes in the beta updates, would be nice.

Each new release has its own set of release notes, Garry. No guessing or mashing needed :)

Ah, thanks Walt. I didn’t know that page was there, or I had forgotten about it, so I only read the beta notes.
Maybe a link to the relevant page given there could be added to the download page.

Yes, that's a good idea, Garry. I think I've seen other suggestions to add the release notes to the download page, or a pointer to those notes.

Also, for either the retail or beta versions, you can look in the Help provided with the program:
