GarryP Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I’ve just started playing with the new Pattern Layer functionality and it looks like it could be very useful. However, I’ve noticed that, whenever I create a new Pattern Layer from a Selection, the pattern starts by offsetting the original selected pixels to the centre of the document. I was wondering if this was by design? I think it might be nice if the pattern was initially created with its centre at the centre of the area of selection rather than it being automatically offset. Or am I just using it wrong? Chris B, IPv6 and wagnerps 3
Staff Chris B Posted December 1, 2020 Staff Posted December 1, 2020 I... have no idea! It's a fair question though. I am happy to ask GarryP 1 How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
GarryP Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 Thanks Chris. At the moment it’s easy to centre the pattern in the document if necessary but it’s difficult to try and put it back where it was originally.
