I normally find doing everything with blend modes is a bit of a pain, the colours often end up not quite being what you wanted, but it worked well enough for what I need. VectorVonDoom Posted December 4, 2020 Author Share Posted December 4, 2020 I wouldn't have thought so for this as to allow it to work with different main colours you need to use blend modes. But I've never really had a proper play with meshes (in AI) so could be wrong. For more complex ones it might do but does AD even have them yet? Pretty much all the photorealistic AI stuff used to be done with meshes although it's doesn't seem to be much of a thing anymore as it's just too much work! One reason I never really played with them is there aren't any tutorials on how to create complex meshes just simple ones like a cherry or other ones where there are just a few segments.
