aaaajeeee
Hi, I have 2 images of a map with slightly different scales. Now I want to merge these 2 images. To achieve this I thought to import the largest of the 2 and set it as background. After importing the second one in a separate layer I wanted to move the image so that it matches the place on the background images. But when I'm try to do this not only the images moves, but also the background images. Questions: - How can I move an image on a layer without moving the background. - How to shrink an image on a layer so that it matches the scale of the under laying background image
GarryP
If one of your layers is locked then, when you move the other layer, the locked layer should not move. Would it be possible for you to attach a video so we can see what’s happening? As for scaling two maps to match well, that might be difficult. Where are you getting your maps from? Is it possible to get the maps at the same scale in the first place, rather than trying to scale them in Photo manually? (OpenStreetMap lets you set the scale when you use the Share function.) Old Bruce
You have probably figured this out on your own by now but here goes, in the screenshot you have the Pan tool selected, this will mover the entire canvas/document what you want is the Move tool. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
