Rotate photo and save as rotated

Recommended Posts

Is there a way of rotating a photo 90 degrees and then storing the rotated photo? I can use the tools to rotate the photo when viewing it, but when I save the rotated photo, then close out of the photo and then reopen it, the photo is no longer rotated.

Hi Wanderer,

Welcome to the Forums :)

If you open the photo you would like to rotate and then go to Document and Rotate 90° Clockwise or Anti Clockwise and then go to File and Export it will save the rotation in the exported file. I hope this helps :)

Hello, I just tried to do as you suggested, however it does not work. I'm on the latest version of Affinity Photo. Has this changed?
