vitaprimo
Inserting from this: …in a text box won't work like it would in most other places in the OS. Please allow that. On the plus side it has forced me to learn how to do stuff but it takes for time, sometime a lot, for a non-pro. (That would be me.) ⌃⌘spacebar BTW

fde101
This has been discussed previously. The characters from that panel actually do get inserted, but many of them get inserted using fonts that do not render (or are somehow not available) in the Affinity products. Selecting the resulting characters and changing the font to one that does work and which contains the character causes it to become visible. The real issue here is not that the "Emoji" panel doesn't work, but that color fonts (primarily) do not work.
