I am trying to add a border to an image by resizing the canvas. I set the anchor point to the centre, unlock the padlock and add 30 pixels to the height and width but sometimes the canvas does not increase on all sides. It was seams to fail on the sides that have been cropped. I have "Rasterise and Trim" but that makes no difference. I tired "Clip canvas" and resize appears to work   until I apply Matte or File Layer. In that case it fills in the bit that has been cropped. See 186511564_afterClipCanvas.JPG.05b3fcfa49e01f98782cc5f89e0498a4.JPG1738641897_afteraddingFillLayer.thumb.JPG.d644b3e17f401d0b8e73bad27faa9329.JPGs. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Check that the canvas size matches the document size. If there’s no mismatch, please post a screenshot of the Transform (‘Xfm’) panel.
