Deselect on Double Tap

At the moment there seems to be no fast and efficient way to deselect, could you please give us the option to deselect on double tap the Apple Pencil?

There’s a ‘Deselect’ option on the menu that pops up when you long-press anywhere in the workspace.

I know there‘s also the x button at the bottom left but I need something faster, maybe I‘m using the pen tool wrong but I have to deselect after every unclosed path in order to be able to draw a new one and the x Button or long press method to deselect is just way too inefficient.

There's the X icon, bottom left that deselects isn't there? Quicker than long pressing.
