View Image size in inces

Photoshop CS4 user for years, new to Affinity photo. I would like to view my image size in inches rather than pixels. I tired selecting the hand tool and changing the units to inches, but it doesn't convert the pixel information to inches. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change another default setting to inches?

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the forums

If you select the background layer the transform tab found towards the bottom right of the app will show your image dimensions in Inches.
