Rudy Sterner Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 I know this is a bit early. Has anyone operated Affinity Photo on an iBook or MacMini, with the new M1 chip. I'm thinking of upgrading my computer, but I'm fully aware that first iterations tend to be buggy. And I would like to hear other users experiences before laying down the money for a new system. v_kyr Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 See for example ... Why the MacBook Air and Pro with Apple's M1 chip are so fast: an expert explains (Ashley Hewson, MD of graphics software powerhouse Serif) Affinity Photo Beta benchmarks (M1 hardware) ... though there are actually also some Big Sure and Affinity universal binary format software problems in terms of longer startup times, according to some forum members here, which already have and use M1 based Apple hardware. - Beside the common Big Sur early state problems and OS bugs etc. Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
