Greyscale images export as black squares

Hello. 

I have a document with some text, cmyk images and greyscale images made in beta .850. When i export to PDF, everything is fine except the greyscale images that come out as all black squares.

I updated to .857 and the problem remains.

I tried with a new document and just a greyscale image and it still comes out as a black square.

Thank you for you interest.

I've just sent the image, a publisher 1.8.5 file with the resulting PDF and a publisher 1.9 file with the resulting PDF.

Thanks, my first export with your files I could reproduce it, but it seems to be alright now no matter what preset I export to.

I'll keep poking but can you take a screenshot of your export settings? Or do you find it happens exporting to any pdf preset?

Here is a screenshot of my export settings.

I just tried with the PDF/X4 settings and exports fine.

I retried with my settings and it gave me the black square again.

So it seems it's something with my settings. Just don't know what it is

Thanks @Galm,

I can reproduce it consistently with those settings, it seems to be disabling JPEG compression that's causing it (enable this and it exports fine)

I've passed this on to development.
