Fill problem

Designer beta 1.9.0.852 Windows 10.

I'm trying to make the fill colour of the attached shape black (0,0,0,) but can't manage it.

If I copy it and paste it into a new document or into Publisher, it comes in as black.

Am I missing something obvious?

Many thanks, Joachim, I never knew that was possible.

The shape was part of a drawing on which I'd added transparency to a picture, although how that affected the Artboard I don't know.

Problem solved and another item to add to my memory bank.
