MarcoKanto
Hi - can someone tell me how to remove the application frame, so open documents float in their own windows. Thanks! Edited November 27, 2020 by MarcoKanto

Junkbox
WINDOWS If I understand you correctly, you just need to drag the tab of the document out of the application frame as you would with say chrome or firefox. Giving you what's in P1.jpg You can even dock other documents inside the new floater for tabbed floaters (P2.jpg). Pretty Nifty! -mk Edited November 27, 2020 by Junkbox WinVer

On Mac, it's not. Junkbox
OIC, I read your sig not his by mistake and saw Windows. Certainly it is possible? Perhaps someone can post the MAC way. -mk

I'm not a MAC user (obviously) but is this functionality not really possible on the OS level or do other applications i.e. illustrator or chrome have that capability? Old Bruce
It gets weird if you try. No crash but things are hard to see with a blue overlay and the windows being translucent. You can have separate windows or them all in one frame but you cannot have most of them in one frame. Tony Bosley
It's easy. I just figured it out. You just go under the menu heading "Window" and choose "Separated Mode". That's it! This is their way of saying "Hide Application Frame". Ta da!
culturalproduct
"You just go under the menu heading "Window" and choose "Separated Mode"." Option not in that location in V2. So far cant see where it was moved to. Hard to believe it would be removed.

culturalproduct
OK so that's a bizarre thing for them to do. I installed V2 and I'm looking at a software interface from the late 1990s. On Windows. 95.
dtmp2
huh? removed in V2! It appears you can still drag the windows out of the frame.
