I would say this warning is a false-positive. Hit the button "Keep" and you should be able to install the new version.

I have tried as suggested, still no go!

In that case, perhaps method 3 in this answer would apply: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/side-by-side-configuration-is-incorrect-in-windows-10-fixed/

But first, you might check to make sure that your installer file downloaded properly. Right-click on the installer file in File Explorer, and choose Properties. Then click on the Digital Signatures tab. Then click on each signature individually, and Details, to verify the signature is correct. If the Digital Signatures tab is missing, or any signature is not valid, your downloaded file is corrupt and you should download again.

I have finally managed to resolve this issue  by doing some of the following suggestions by yourself, I ran Method 4, I then tried to update but could not . I then uninstalled the application in its entirety. I then tried to reinstall the programme with no success, to which I then used another computer and downloaded from the Affinity Website with success and installed after which I put the app onto a USB flash drive and installed successfully onto the affected computers.  Thanking everybody for their help in this matter!
