Since the MacOs update, I cannot use Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer anymore. The Apps cannot be opened, there's just an error message.

I installed the Apps from the Apple App Store again, without any success. But I could download (and use!) the free trial - which would need a product key after 10 days. This indicates, that the software works on my Mac (but not the version from the store!).

I contacted the Apple and Serif support in sum 8 (!) times, but no-one wanted to help me. Serif said it was not their problem because I bought the apps in the Apple Store, and Apple said that Serif is responsible.

An easy solution would be to just provide me with the product keys that I can insert after the free trial, but Serif said they would not provide me with, and Apple said, they do not have those keys.

So my only possibility will be to purchase Affinity Designer und Affinity Photo again which makes me really angry.

@Jessica12345

Don't do that.

Someone with MacOs expertise will be along to help you or explain what you need to do

Hi @Jessica12345,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
I'm sorry to know you are having trouble with the applications. What error message does Affinity display when you try to start them? Have you tried to reset the apps already? Press and hold cmd while launching the  application until a Clear User Data dialogs appears, keep just the first three checkboxes ticked (only otherwise you will reset your custom brushes, macros, styles etc) then press Clear? Does it fix the issue?

Did you sign into your Mac App Store account and download from the Purchased page?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
