Buttone/sliders for adjusting text size

I switched from Page[plus to get the additional graphical abilities of the Affinity suite but am surprised to find some features from Pagelus not carried across.  One is the ability to change text size with sliders with up/down buttons for 0.1 point increments.  I can enter the decimal points manually but this is cumbersome compared with Pageplus.   Is there a plan to add the ability to hit an up/down button to change text size at the 0.1 point increment?

 

Also i can't see the ability to see the transform of pictures if resized.  In Pageplus there is the ability to see what proportion a picture is in from the original and adjust the 5 to maintain the if the proportions were out.

Ctrl + scroll mouse wheel does that on Windows.

Text > Size > Precise bigger
Text > Size > Precise smaller

Resizes text in 0.1pt increments

You can reassign their respective default shortcuts to something else

If I do that the page just zooms in and out (I'm on windows)  I got the answer in the "precise bigger/smaller" answer above .  Thanks.

Having the text / text frame selected you have to use Ctrl + scroll mouse wheel while being with the cursor over a font size pulldown.
