anthony31
I can set this in preferences but then there is a silly exclamation mark telling me the F key is used by something else. Why doesn't it clear all those other assignments and just work properly? How do I find out what these other key assignments are? I just want to assign a key command and this program makes it so difficult.
anthony31
I found out a way to do this: Open C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\Workspaces\Photo\Shortcuts.xml Delete anything with key="F" and no modifiers and that isn't the flood fill comman and save. Still would be nice if the keyboard assignment function in the program actually worked like every other keyboard assignment function in every other program. Old Bruce
Much Safer and possibly easier way is to hover over the Caution symbol until the tool tip shows up then you can decide if you want to get rid of it. Might take a bit of work with the help menu to find the shortcut but it is much safer to do this than mess with the xml file. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
