This is available now via prefs. I made mine Shift + D

Maybe the shortcut options could include and option for creating a shortcut for a 50% grey layer

sorry but I can only see "New Fill Layer"

I´ve searched under Pixel persona and Layers - as I want to create it as a Layer but can´t see it? (Yes, I´m in the beta)#

 

I still can´t see why the shortcut´s aren´t searchable.... *headache*

Yes of course, and the Shift D Shortcut makes perfect sense as well.

I for my part had wished for a dedicated shortcut for creating the layer and filling it at the same time...

Not it´s like 

 

Shift cmd n

Shift D

G (maybe pressing twice)

click

 

But well ... nothing too bad, I Mean there are other more important things so I´ll just forget about this two more seconds it takes
