VectorCat Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 I'm seeing very spotty results as I move objects with the shift key held; about 20% of the time, the movement is constrained to either X- or Y-axis; the majority of the time, no axis is respected. Is there a reliable key press which will absolutely result in the moved object's being actually constrained to an axis? Quote
GarryP Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 The SHIFT key should constrain movement, via the Move Tool (and others), to pre-defined ‘trajectories’ at 45 degree intervals – including the X and Y axes – as long as you drag far enough (usually not more than a little way from the original point). Would it be possible for you to show us a video of what is happening? Quote
