Hi!

I'm using the pen tool, and I want to draw points that are exactly horizontal/vertical to another point. Essentially, if I'm drawing a shape such as:

       A            B

C                        D

I want A and B to be horizontal and C and D to be horizontal to each other. I attached some images of my current settings. On a laptop, I know that holding shift can keep lines straight, but I can't find the equivalent on an ipad. I tried holding one finger and two fingers down while creating the line. Sometimes a purple line appears to show vertical/horizontal alignment but I can't seem to figure out why it shows up only sometimes. It is also extremely sensitive and the line doesn't snap to that point, I have to very carefully try and align it, but then the purple line disappears.

Hi @Jamie1212.

Welcome to the forum

If you enable the On Screen Modifier in the Preferences then you will be able to use the Constrain tool to limit the line to horizontal, vertical and 45 degree angles
