Garish colour problem when Exporting!

Recommended Posts

Hello!  I'm having real problems when I export a document created as CMYK into a JPEG or PDF.  I've unchecked ICC yet when the receiver has looked at the file at the other ends there are traces of ICC!

Then - I have another issue where if I export to JPEG it looks fine as a preview but when it gets uploaded to our website or onto Linked in the colours look a bit psychedellic (in a not good way!)

I've attached a couple of screen shots.  (The psychedellic one also had to be re-exported in a smaller file size hence the blurriness but the colour issue is obvious)

I ended up having to set the document up as RGB in order for the colours not to be so garish!  Is the answer to always do this?

Can anyone help?

H

Hi @Hayley,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! We're going to need some more information/documents to investigate this further, can you please upload a copy of your Affinity Document and the exported JPEG to the below link for me?

Once uploaded, please reply here to let me know, then take a screenshot of your export settings (including the 'More' options) and attach this screenshot here.

Many thanks in advance :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
