Kijoli
There is an absolutely awful bug going on in my Affinity Designer program. The program simply shuts itself down, and it appears that no file is safe! First it happened when I clicked the "Save" button in the menu - the file isn't saved, it just shuts down, even though I clearly clicked "Save". After repeating this several times, I moved my content to a new file, and then it worked again, however I had to recreate all the global colors and symbols. But now, this file shuts down when I click CTRL+Z! This time it is a bit more difficult to reproduce, but it occurs after I hold shift and double-click on a particular text box. I am not going to be able to use this program if it keeps behaving like this. What can I do?
Staff Sean P Posted November 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 25, 2020 Hi Kijoli, When reporting issues to us please see the comments in the forum below:https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/71-bug-reporting/ If you are reporting an issue that is specific to your files, could you attach a copy of them so we can get them investigated please? Without those, or crash reports we cannot begin to investigate what the issue might be.
