I was making an infographic the other day and whenever I exported it as a pdf it would have certain glitches. For example some text would be smaller and some shapes would be completely gone. When I tried converting all the text layers to curves that fixed the problem but some of the shapes I had in the graphic disappeared. I tried expanding all the strokes and converting all the shapes to curves but it still disappeared. When I exported it as a png however I had no problems at all. Hope someone can help me out with this.

Hi @Isaiah,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

It would help to see a copy of both your Affinity Document and the exported PDF. Could you please upload a copy of these to your reply?

If you wish to keep your work private, please let me know and I can provide an upload link.

Many thanks in advance :)

No problem at all Isaiah, thanks for letting me know!

Please upload these 2 documents to the below link for me:

https://www.dropbox.com/request/IhWhHtxuDTA3vllu6QzV

Once completed, please reply here to let me know and include a screenshot of your PDF export settings, including the 'More' options.

Many thanks once again :)

Sorry I've been busy and forgot about getting back with you.. it looks like the dropbox link is closed so if you could please post another one and I'll add my files in there.

Thanks,

Isaiah

Many thanks for your document!

Firstly, it appears all of the elements in your document are duplicates - if you move any object you'll find there is a copy beneath each one. Have you done this for a specific reason? This is more my intrigue rather than any 'issue'.

After cleaning up your document and installing the fonts, I exported it on Mac and everything looks correct to me - besides 1 rectangle which is not being included. The exact cause for this I'm still investigating.

Other than this rectangle, what else do you believe is an issue with your document please? :)

I did see the word "SIZE" change size a bit as well... and with the duplication im pretty sure I just wanted to have a copy of everything that didn't have expanded strokes.
