bluewave
Hi, Thanks for the comments. I am relatively new to digital art, so still developing my techniques, so forgive me if i use incorrect terminology. I am more used to oil paint, palette knives, brushes and canvases. So tend to follow a similar workflow for my digital projects, which is probably the wrong way. Initially, all is vector, done with shapes and the pen tool in designer persona. I draw the outlines of significant features and clothing. Then draw thick strokes using a small palette to get a basic idea of the coloured areas inside the outline shapes. Then edit these line and colours to get the required balance. I then Rasterise the vector colour layers and use blending brushes in Pixel Persona to get smooth colour transitions. Extra Hair layers are added using fine brushes in Pixel Persona. Skin texture added using texture brushes in Pixel Persona Material Textures (leather, cloth etc.) done using texture brushes in Pixel Persona.
