Strange artefacts from liquify

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is a beta-specific problem - but these artefacts occured in the latest Beta (852) after applying a liquify edit.

Indeed. Also the grid lines spin out of control; I see straight lines in different angles after each edit.

I gave up using Designer - a "professional" vector drawing program without advanced or semi-advanced vector features. Customers waiting for five years in vain is more than any company can ask for. Maybe if Affinity Designer 2.0 gets real and advanced vector features I can use it. Until then... I am a customer, a potential upgrader and an active observer with an opinion.

Further... give up and please hire a professional, educated UX (user experience designer), Serif. Professional software companies used them for decades now. You must too.

I am struggling to see this on my end. OpenCL on/off?

I see this on a trusty old (but fast) computer without anything else than a simple Intel chipset. Windows 10 professional.

The green stuff visible the last seconds is from the encoder of ScreenToGIF.

Take a look at this liquify screenshot with the according preferences ...
You can see the artefacts, the mesh going wild - and the preferences with enabled HW acceleration
