It seems that only the Mac App Store versions of the Affinity apps support OS X 10.7 Lion. The stated minimum OS version for the Affinity Store apps for Mac is OS X 10.9 Mavericks. There is probably no comparable and up-to-date software that supports such an old MAC operating system.
prl99
Was the benchmark capability in Affinity Photo removed for the final version? It supposedly was under Help but it's not there anymore. Thanks.
Staff MEB Posted November 24, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 24, 2020 Hi @prl99, Welcome to Affinity Forums The benchmark was added to v1.9 (currently in Beta). It's not available in version 1.8x. basha
What are the best performance preferences for the M1 MacBook? (Can't seem to find this specified anywhere.) Cheers
Staff MEB Posted January 28, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 28, 2021 Hi basha, There's no need to set any preferences. It should run at its best with the default configs. Affinity apps are distributed as universal apps - they are already optimized for the new Apple M1 chips.
