Mac keeps crashing when using Publisher

Recommended Posts

I am using High Sierra Mac OS 10.13.6 - just doing basic work I am afraid my mac keeps freezing after a few mins work. I have attached a crash report for your perusal but I don't know if that can help you, Please reply if you require anything that can help solve my problem. Any help is appreciated.

I haven't uploaded latest upgrade as yet as I hope I can make inroads first on this problem

Sorry for the length of report  - I got it out of Console app in Utilities - in the diagnostic reports

So the post doesn't take ages to scroll it's worth pasting the information from places like the Console app into a simple text editor and saving.

Can you expand on your workflow, was you doing anything particular when the crashes occured? are you using new blank documents or existing ones? which version of Publisher do you have installed?

Hi Lee - thanks for getting back - I am just doing basic work, images and text as I am a recent convert from Indesign. I am placing images into Publisher from iCloud - should i transfer onto my desktop or HD?, secondly I use 2 screens using a SVG adaptor to connect from my mac to a Dell Monitor? Both points might be irrelevant but I will use Publisher again over weekend and try and save a usable crash report for you. I felt terrible about the last one. Thanks for your help

Yes, anywhere in your HD will work much much better than any cloud.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
