nimarechal
Windows 10 - Version 1.8.5.703 I have frequent problems reading jpg files with transparency. The first attached file is one example of such a transparent jpg, the second attached file is a screen capture of what I get when I open the image. I can provide other sample files if required. It seems so simple now that you have shown the solution. Thank you!

It just appears that I sometimes receive such files from publishers, without knowing how they are made in the first place. I personally use PNG files when I need to build transparent pictures.
