firstdefence Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 We need to know what the settings are. What colour profile is being used with these documents? What colour profile is the printer settings showing? Have you checked your printer to make sure all the colours are printing? Have you changed cartridges recently or are you using a continuous ink system? What is your printer model Can you upload a file you are having problems with so we can take a look at it? I'd say it looks like maybe your magenta channel not firing. Have you run a nozzle check? Yes I did like 7 nozzle checks I will look to see if it’s being used cause the blue the black do good but the yellow will turn a little green also 4 hours ago, firstdefence said: We need to know what the settings are. Add nothing more than a small yellow or gold rectangle to the document. Print it. If the print has the greenish problem, attach the simple document to a forum message. Quote

Check this out☺️ I did another nozzle head cleaning and after it was done it said it does recognize the magenta in cartridge it has never said that and that’s the color that someone suggested that was not reading and that it’s not firing up... now that it’s showing this what do you suggest I do now... what steps should I take and thank you so much for the link☺️☺️ Edited November 21, 2020 by Felice Forgot the picture 🤦🏾♀️☺️ Quote
firstdefence Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Sometimes simply removing the magenta cartridge and refitting it works and possibly cleaning the contacts (the gold bit at the front) with an eraser can help or replace the magenta cartridge. Are these genuine or compatible cartridges? There can be a wide range of quality from good to very poor in the compatibles market. I did not notice that I had been getting green design and that the magenta was not spitting ink out but this has been printing green for a week and a half and it just hit me when someone said it was the magenta but since I noticed that I have refilled all colors and replaced them. I don’t understand. But I have not taken it out replaced it and it has read it now and I’m doing another nozzle cleaning. I’m going to see can I buy more cartridges also... Quote

Felice Posted November 21, 2020 Author Posted November 21, 2020 (edited) 1 hour ago, BofG said: Nozzle checks look fine, which is good news. So it's either genuinely out of magenta, or as @firstdefence said it's a bad contact with the cartridge chip. Try refitting it and see. Ok let me try that it’s not out of Magenta so it may be the bad contact... what about that deal with the eraser Edited November 21, 2020 by Felice Quote

If not, you could try exporting a file from Affinity and then use another app to print that file. Quote
firstdefence Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 The eraser is just a way to clean the electrical contacts, sometimes they can get grease i.e. fingerprints or dust or ink on them and a light rub over with a standard eraser will clean them so that they make good contact with the contacts in the printer. Felice Posted November 21, 2020 Author Posted November 21, 2020 Just now, Felice said: Ok I printed from Silhouette Designs and I got the same colors Ok this is what I notice it’s the printer I think because the gold is still lime green and the dark red is basically black. I printed this image 7 times and it supposed to have been gold and red but it’s lime green instead of gold and the gold on the red ornament is lime green also.. lepr 1 Quote
HANDJOJO Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Probably your printer have a bad Print Head, once of the print head has struggle to print it, try to head cleaner, if still struggle to smooth print you can contact the service provider to consult it. Regards, Quote
