lasbill Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I have Designer, Photo and Publisher installed on my system. The last time I used the programs, everything was working normally. Last night I tried to open Designer and...nothing. The cursor spun for a couple of seconds like the program was trying to load, then that went away and there was nothing. The system continued running and there was no error message or anything. The program simply would not run. The same thing happened with the other two Affinity programs. I tried repair installations and uninstalling and reinstalling, and got the same results. All three programs are version 1.8.5 obtained from the Affinity store. My computer is an ASUS laptop with the following processor and GPU: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. Staff stokerg Posted November 20, 2020 Staff Posted November 20, 2020 Hi @lasbill and Welcome to the Forums, Could you check the settings on this post just we have had a large number of users on Windows not being able to start the apps due to a change made by what appears to be the most recent Windows update. lasbill Posted November 21, 2020 Author Posted November 21, 2020 (edited) Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the problem. I followed the instructions in the post but the color settings were already correct. Edited November 21, 2020 by lasbill Quote
