Sony A7 III RAW Files not supported.

Recommended Posts

Hello,

since the iOS 14 update Affinity Photo does not support my Sony A7 III raw files anymore.

RAW Photos imported before the update are still usable. These are from the exact same SD card with the same Data settings (RAW + jpeg) as the new ones. As far as I’m concerned the A7 III is supported by apple.

I am still using my good old iPad Air 2 which is a bit slow, but handles everything else iOS 14 offers (as far as I tested).

Anyone with a solution to the problem? This issue messes up my whole workflow and I need to fix it asap.

Thx in advance for your help!

Heppel

Hi Heppel iOS 14 seems to have broken a few things. As a workaround, you could try the beta version which incorporates Serifs raw engine (as well as Apples). The serif raw engine support list shows the A7 III. 🙂
