Hi,

From the Layer menu, go to Master Page... and choose Edit Detached:

Hi,

thanks for answer, but I can't find it … not from Master or not from Page … version 1.8.6

That feature is in the Beta, you will have to right click on the Master Page in the Layers panel. Go to the page you want to edit and select the Master Page, not the text frame layer, the actual masterpage layer holding the layers.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Apols - didn't realise this had moved around. Here it is in the release version:

I have the same problem (Publisher 1.85) ... can't change the text which suddenly have this cross marks at the text frame borders. They are fixed (wasen't before) and I can't work ...!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Are you having trouble changing the text itself, or changing the properties of the text frame, such as the size or location? Generally you should be able to change the text itself (the content of the frame) but not the properties of the frame.

Thanks for the welcome 😊

I can't change any properties or move the frames. I tried to fix this problem as suggested above - but it doesn't work because I can't follow the suggested way (Publisher 1.85 windows version).
" to right click on the Master Page in the Layers panel. Go to the page you want to edit and select the Master Page, not the text frame layer, the actual masterpage layer holding the layers."

In fact I don't know WHEN it changed and I got time trouble
