Just updated to Big Sur and now the App Store auto-updated Affinity Photo 1.8.6 will not open. Have rebooted twice.

I also have the updated Publisher and Designer. Both open fine.

I'm running on an iMac 27" -  2019.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Roel777,

Welcome to the forums :)

What happens when you try to open the apps do you get any error messages?

Thanks

Hi Callum,

No error message, the icon in the dock just bounces for a while and stops without anything more happening.

I've tried starting from the dock, from the app in the Applications folder and by right clicking a photo I want to open. Same results.

Hi Roel, please could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the apps as they should be opening fine.

Trashed it and re-downloaded and works fine now.

Thanks Callum!
