Changing brush tip shape

I've noticed that in Affinity Photo, only Basic brushes allow you to alter the Shape/width of the brush nozzle, with all other brushes and custom brushes having no change when the Shape slider is moved.

Is there any way to fix this, or is it a feature that just does not exist yet?

Welcome to the forum

The other bushes use a texture image to control the shape of the brush and to change the shape of these brushes you will need to use a new base texture image.
